The Curriculum in Diseases of the Digestive System and of the Liver provides comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to conduct advanced research in gastroenterology, hepatology, and dentistry. The focus is on key areas such as chronic liver diseases, including cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, as well as inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Additional areas of study include gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional gastrointestinal disorders, eosinophilic esophagitis, autoimmune gastritis, autoimmune liver diseases, liver transplantation, dental implantology, prosthodontics, and orthodontics.
